DMf is used by the Prefecture (as administrator), and by the Municipalities for their own organisation and in order to help them to confront the disasters, by citizens, by enterprises etc. for the collection of information on the dangers that can cause disasters for subscribing for attending voluntary teams and services.

Telecommunication and Information Technologies offer many useful tools for preventing disasters. The geographic informational system, the internet, early notification technologies, notification systems/tools(cameras ,sensors and collection of meteorological and other data). They provide continuous, cheap, valid and convenient information.

At the Portal www.politikiprostasia-naaa.gr someone can get information for every service that is provide(what is shown by the cameras, meteorological data), become an authenticated users in order to be able to submit dangers or subscribe.
